Breeze Airways Expands Non-Stop Service to New Orleans
Breeze Airways, the budget airline established by David Neeleman, the founder of JetBlue, is set to introduce a new non-stop route connecting Tampa International Airport (TPA) with Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). This initiative is part of the airline’s ongoing expansion, which currently includes over 270 routes across more than 30 states.
Commencing on June 1, the Tampa to New Orleans flights will be operational four times a week, specifically on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This addition marks Breeze Airways’ twelfth non-stop service out of New Orleans, highlighting the airline’s commitment to increasing travel options for passengers.
This route announcement follows Breeze Airways’ recent unveiling of two new flights to Key West, further solidifying its position in the market of affordable air travel.
The allure of New Orleans lies in its rich cultural tapestry, celebrated for its distinctive culinary offerings, vibrant streets, and renowned jazz and R&B music scenes. The city boasts a variety of accommodation options ranging from luxurious hotels to charming boutique stays, such as the popular Maison de la Luz, catering to diverse preferences.
Meanwhile, Tampa lures visitors with its picturesque white sand beaches, attractions like The Florida Aquarium and Busch Gardens amusement park, as well as its lively nightlife scene. The city also features a growing selection of hotels, including the upscale boutique hotel, The Edition Tampa, which enhances the overall travel experience.
