Nord Security, renowned for its highly-rated VPN and password manager, has introduced its NordProtect identity theft protection service as an independent offering in 2024.
Originally, NordProtect was bundled exclusively with the NordVPN Prime subscription, but it is now available separately for users in the United States.

NordProtect includes critical monitoring of the dark web, tracking sensitive personal information such as email addresses, Social Security Numbers, and phone numbers. Users will receive alerts if their data is discovered on hacker platforms.

“Criminals are continuously innovating their methods to extort money, highlighting the need for effective tools to safeguard internet users,” stated Tomas Sinicki, managing director of NordProtect. “Online fraud is escalating, leading to substantial financial losses for many. Our expanded services now feature enhanced monitoring of personally identifiable information and financial reimbursement for specific online fraud cases, ensuring that our customers have the assistance they require during critical times.”
