Following the significant acclaim and box office triumph of the 2023 action thriller Jailer, the iconic actor Rajinikanth is poised to reprise his role as Muthuvel Pandian for the eagerly awaited sequel. Nelson Dilipkumar will return as director for this next installment. The announcement that Jailer 2 was officially in production was made in January, accompanied by a teaser release on YouTube. Filming commenced on March 10, with the project being produced under Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures banner. Apoorva Raagangal (1975)
