Irish Repertory Theatre Announces Cast for Return of A Child’s Christmas in Wales
The Irish Repertory Theatre has unveiled the full ensemble and creative team for the upcoming revival of *A Child’s Christmas in Wales*, an adaptation of Dylan Thomas’s beloved work. This production is directed and adapted by Charlotte Moore, who previously worked on *Aristocrats*, with musical direction provided by David Hancock Turner, known for *The Butcher Boy*. The show is set to begin previews on December 4, 2024, with its official opening night scheduled for December 8, 2024. The performance will run for a limited engagement until December 29, 2024, on the theatre’s Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage.

Performance Overview
This year marks the seventh special return of the heartwarming holiday classic, *A Child’s Christmas in Wales*. Charlotte Moore’s musical rendition captures the essence of this “never to be forgotten day at the end of the unremembered year,” blending modern and traditional Christmas music with the enchanting tale set against the backdrop of a snowy Christmas in Wales. Moore originally premiered this adaptation in 2002 as part of *A Celtic Christmas*.
Schedule and Ticket Information
The performance schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday to Saturday at 7 PM
- Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM
- Sundays at 3 PM
Notably, there will be no performances on Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25. An additional show is planned for Friday, December 27, at 2 PM.
