Netón Vega Secures Distribution Deal, Flavour Partners with Warner & More Highlights

Recent Artist Signings and Collaborations in the Music Industry

Downtown Artist & Label Services has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Josa Records to bolster the career of rising Música Mexicana star Netón Vega. This partnership will facilitate the global distribution of Vega’s existing tracks as well as his anticipated debut album, which is set to launch early next year. The album will feature collaborations with notable artists such as Peso Pluma, Luis R Conriquez, and Tito Double P. Vega’s popular tracks include “La Patrulla,” “LINDA,” “Presidente,” and “Si No Quieres No,” the last of which is a collaboration with fellow Downtown artist Conriquez.

Nigerian singer Flavour has inked a joint deal with Warner Music Africa and Africori, which will work together to distribute his upcoming music releases. Known for his unique blend of African rhythms, highlife, and modern jazz, Flavour has amassed over 1.1 billion views on YouTube and has sold upwards of 5 million albums globally, highlighting his significant influence in the music industry.

Actor, rapper, and DJ IDRIS (also known as Idris Elba) has signed with Dirtybird Records. His latest single, “No Long Talk,” was released on December 6, accompanied by an official remix from the artist GAWP, showcasing Elba’s expanding career in music.

Gospel artist Jonathan McReynolds has signed with Motown Gospel/Christian Music Group for the release of his first-ever Christmas-themed EP, titled Red & Green. In addition to this, McReynolds has partnered with CAA as he embarks on a six-city concert tour to promote the EP, which began on December 1 in Chicago and is expected to conclude on December 21 in Atlanta.

The metal band Shadows Fall has joined forces with MNRK Heavy and made a highly anticipated return with the release of their new single “In the Grey,” the first new music from the band in over ten years. The group is managed by Scott Lee of SL Management.

Atlanta-based artist Girlpuppy, the solo project of Becca Harvey, has signed with Captured Tracks and unveiled her latest single “Champ” through the label, marking a significant milestone in her music career.

Eighteen-year-old blues prodigy Muireann Bradley has signed with Decca Records and its U.S. affiliate Verve Forecast. The labels are preparing to release her debut album, I Kept These Old Blues, on February 28, further establishing her presence in the music scene.

Scarlet Rae, from the indie folk group Rose Dorn, has joined Bayonet Records and has released her new single “Bleu,” further enhancing her artistic repertoire.

Nashville-based collective The Band Light has signed with Red Van Records and is on track to release new material early next year. The group, managed by Rachel Inglesino of Jonas Group Entertainment, has also recently secured a deal with Jonas Group Publishing, positioning them strategically for future projects.
