On February 28, Tory Lanez made a phone appearance on the NELK Boys’ Full Send Podcast from prison, where he is currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. During the call, the Canadian artist expressed his appreciation for Adin Ross, highlighting Ross’s unwavering support during a challenging time in his life.

Host Kyle Forgeard noted that Ross had recently appeared on the podcast donning a “Free Tory” shirt, demonstrating his solidarity with Lanez. When prompted about the support he has received, Lanez candidly shared his feelings about Ross:

“Adin, I love that kid man. That’s my real brother. What people don’t realize is that we both come from tough backgrounds and have supported each other during those moments when others didn’t,” Lanez said.

He continued, expressing genuine emotion: “I really love Adin, and it affects me deeply to have someone who represents my struggles so fiercely. That connection means the world to me.”

In the same podcast appearance, Lanez emphasized the authenticity of Ross’s support compared to others in the industry, stating, “Everyone else, even those who claim to be real, are often hesitant to voice their true feelings. They come to me privately, sharing their belief in my innocence and showing concern, but in public, they hesitate to speak up.”

Lanez’s legal troubles began in late 2022 when he was charged in connection to the shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion. Despite the controversies, Lanez has remained vocal about his admiration for his “favorite rapper” and has been supportive of artists like Ross, particularly after Ross defended him online in the wake of Megan’s viral TikTok video in September.

Adin Ross Praised by Tory Lanez for Support During Imprisonment

Lanez underscored his respect for Ross, stating, “What makes Adin stand out is that while many are intimidated into silence, he is not afraid to publicly express his support for me. Many have expressed their doubts about my situation in private, but only a few are brave enough to do so publicly.”

This heartfelt acknowledgment from Lanez sheds light on the importance of steadfast relationships amidst adversity, particularly within the entertainment industry, where public image often takes precedence over genuine support.
