JBL has launched its latest Tune Series 2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones in India, comprising the JBL Tune Buds 2, Tune Beam 2, and Tune Flex 2 models. These earphones come equipped with a variety of advanced features including adaptive noise cancellation, spatial sound capabilities, multi-point connectivity, and Google Fast Pair integration. With an IP54 rating, they are designed to withstand dust and splashes, making them suitable for everyday use. Additionally, the earphones support Voice Prompts and VoiceAware technology, allowing users to modify audio experiences through the JBL Headphones app. The new lineup will be available for purchase in India later this month.
Pricing and Availability of JBL Tune Buds 2, JBL Tune Beam 2, and JBL Tune Flex 2
The JBL Tune Buds 2 are priced at ₹9,499, while the Tune Beam 2 and Tune Flex 2 are available for ₹11,999 and ₹10,499, respectively, as stated in the company’s press release. Each model will be offered in a selection of colors including Black, Blue, and White.
These new TWS earphones will go on sale starting April 17, accessible via the JBL India website and select retail partners. An update from the company also indicates that the earphones will be purchasable through Amazon, enhancing their availability across different platforms.
Features of the JBL Tune Buds 2, JBL Tune Beam 2, and JBL Tune Flex 2
The JBL Tune Buds 2 feature a compact bud-style design, while the Tune Beam 2 is characterized by a closed-type stick design. Both models are equipped with 10mm audio drivers, whereas the JBL Tune Flex 2 incorporates an open-type stick design with larger 12mm drivers, catering to various audio preferences. All models maintain an IP54 rating for protection against dust and moisture.
These earphones offer robust adaptive noise cancellation and enhanced call noise cancellation through six integrated microphones. They also feature a TalkThru mode that allows users to engage in conversations without removing their earphones. Support for Google Fast Pair, Bluetooth 5.3, and multi-point connectivity further enhances usability. Users can customize their acoustic experience with the Personi-Fi 3.0 technology through the JBL Headphones app, enabling tailored sound profiles and control gestures.
The JBL Tune Series 2 earphones also promise a Spatial Sound experience, complemented by Voice Prompts and VoiceAware technology. The VoiceAware feature lets users adjust how much of their own voice they hear during voice calls, while Voice Prompts facilitate interaction with paired devices via vocal commands.
In terms of battery life, the JBL Tune Buds 2, Tune Beam 2, and Tune Flex 2 offer up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge when the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is off. When including the charging cases, users can expect an additional 36 hours of listening time. When ANC is enabled, the Tune Buds 2 and Tune Beam 2 provide up to 10 hours of use, while the Tune Flex 2 delivers around eight hours of battery life.
