NASA is calling on digital content creators to register for an exciting opportunity to witness the launch of the SpaceX Crew-11 mission, which is set to transport astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. This milestone marks the 15th flight of a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft deployed by a Falcon 9 rocket to the ISS.
The Crew-11 mission is scheduled for no earlier than July 2025, launching from Florida. Onboard will be NASA astronauts Commander Zena Cardman and Pilot Mike Fincke, along with mission specialists Kimiya Yui from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Oleg Platonov from Roscosmos.

Do I need a social media account to register?
Yes, applicants should actively engage on social media platforms to share information with a distinct audience. Candidates are expected to regularly create content that incorporates multimedia and have a proven track record of visibility and credibility in their social media postings.
All social media users are encouraged to utilize the hashtags #NASASocial and #Crew11. Event updates will be communicated through X via @NASASocial, @NASAKennedy, and also on Facebook and Instagram.
How do I register?
Registration will open on April 15, with the final deadline set for 10 a.m. EDT on April 28. Each registration is non-transferable and must be completed individually.
Can I register if I am not a U.S. citizen?
Absolutely. The event welcomes participants aged 18 and over from all nationalities.
When will I be notified if I am selected?
After reviewing applications, selected individuals will receive confirmation and additional details via email. Notifications are expected to be sent by May 30.
What are NASA Social credentials?
Applications will be assessed individually, and successful applicants must demonstrate that they meet specific engagement criteria outlined during registration.

What are the registration requirements?
By registering, you commit to traveling to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and attending the full two-day event. Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and meal costs. Full attendance is necessary to experience the launch.
Keep in mind that events planned for the Social may change without notice, and NASA cannot be held liable for any inconveniences related to attendance. Being a government site, selected attendees must complete an additional clearance process for entry into secure areas.
IMPORTANT: To gain entry, attendees must provide two forms of valid government-issued ID, one of which must include a photo that matches the registration details. Entry will be denied without appropriate identification.

All registrants must be at least 18 years of age.
What if the launch date changes?
Due to various operational factors, launch dates can change. Should this occur, NASA may adjust the Social’s schedule accordingly. Email notifications will be sent to registrants regarding any alterations.
In such situations, attendees may be offered the option to participate in a rescheduled launch, though this is not guaranteed. Any additional expenses resulting from launch delays will be the responsibility of attendees, so it is advisable to arrange refundable and/or flexible travel plans.
What if I cannot come to the Kennedy Space Center?
If attendance in person is not possible, registering for NASA Social is not recommended. However, you can still engage with the broader conversation online using #NASASocial. Additionally, NASA offers a free virtual guest program for launches and significant events, delivering curated updates and information directly to your inbox.
