I rely heavily on blenders and food processors in my daily routine. Whether it’s a morning smoothie, a fresh salad dressing for lunch, or a quick frozen cocktail to unwind, these appliances are essential. Despite my enthusiasm for blending, the thought of retrieving my bulky blender from the pantry, clearing space on the counter, and eventually doing it all in reverse can feel cumbersome. I’ve often wished for a more practical solution.
Recently, Nutribullet launched the Flip, a portable blender that features a highly insulated 20-ounce blending cup which serves dual purposes: blending and sipping. Positioned competitively in the market, it stands out as a promising new option.

Luck was on my side when Nutribullet provided me with this device to enhance my smoothie-making efforts. So far, I’ve encountered numerous advantages with this compact gadget, and I’m eager to explore its capabilities further.
One of the most significant benefits of the Nutribullet Flip is its space-saving design. It resembles a large water bottle, making it exceptionally easy to store. The blending motor conveniently attaches to the top of the tumbler, limiting the storage to just one piece. The stainless steel blade excels at transforming frozen fruits, seeds, and vegetables into smooth blends, whether I’m preparing a smoothie, tomato sauce, or salad dressing, consistently achieving an impressive texture. There is a minor adjustment period involved, as it lacks the transparency typically found in traditional blenders, meaning I sometimes need to pause and unscrew the lid to check the blending progress. However, with practice, understanding the right liquid amount and texture becomes intuitive.
So far, my smoothies have been delightfully thick and creamy. While my high-powered 1,200-watt Beast blender remains unbeatable in certain aspects, the Nutribullet Flip offers substantial advantages in terms of convenience and speed. Once blending is complete, it takes mere seconds to unscrew the motor, rinse it, and enjoy my drink with the included metal straw. Additionally, there’s a lightweight lid available for easy sipping or transporting blends like hummus or dressings. Cleanup is quick and straightforward, requiring nothing more than a rinse.
Arguably, one of the most appealing features of the Nutribullet Flip is its insulated stainless steel tumbler, which keeps beverages exceptionally cold. There’s nothing quite like reaching the bottom of a smoothie and finding it still refreshingly chilled, and this tumbler certainly delivers that satisfaction.
