When does LoL Patch 25.09 release?

The latest update is slated to roll out on April 30, 2025, in alignment with the usual Wednesday release schedule of League. While the specific times for launch in each region have not been finalized, the anticipated release times are as follows:

What’s in LoL Patch 25.09?

This patch focuses on fine-tuning player experience, introducing changes to various champions to manage the balance of power within the game. Among the updates are significant adjustments aimed at addressing the overpowered teleport spell and revising the strength of certain champions, particularly those who have become less viable in the current meta.   • [Q] Ranger’s Focus: AD Ratio adjusted from 111/117/123/129/135 to 110/117.5/125/132.5/140%.
  • AS tweaked from 25/35/45/55/65% to 25/37.5/50/67.5/75%.

K’sante

With Gwen’s rise in popularity, K’sante has experienced a decline in competitive relevance.

Leona

Leona is underperforming compared to other support champions like Alistar and Rell, prompting a buff.

Ignite

To counteract the dominance of teleport at higher levels, Ignite is being enhanced to improve its desirability among players, notably increasing its post-level six damage from 70-410 to 70-475.

Unflinching

The duel resist while movement is impaired has been changed from 6-12% to a flat 10%.

System Nerfs

Several items will be facing nerfs in League Patch 25.09:

Rod of Ages

Having been a popular choice, especially among mages facing double assassin compositions, its stats will be adjusted to reduce its power without sufficient immediate tradeoffs. Health is decreased from 400 to 350, and Ability Power from 50 to 45.

Boots of Swiftness

Movement speed is reduced from 60 to 55.

System Adjustments

Various items and runes will undergo adjustments in League Patch 25.09:

Biscuits

This item is being modified as players have been utilizing the restored health too strategically in teamfights, especially following recent adjustments. Healing will now restore 12% of missing health and offer increased effectiveness based on the player’s health.

Feat Boots

Symbiotic Soles
