CEO Carl Pei of Nothing has provided strong indications that the Nothing Phone 3 is set to launch in the United States, marking significant progress for the brand amidst existing tariff challenges in the country. The anticipated release is expected to occur in the third quarter of 2025.

The Nothing Phone 3 has been in development for nearly two years, and expectations are notably high. Nothing has carved a niche in the Android smartphone market, consistently delivering devices that stand out from the numerous similar offerings. Recent releases, including the Phone 3a series and the CMF Phone 2 Pro, have each introduced distinctive features. With the upcoming Phone 3, enthusiasts are hoping for a device that could rival top-tier flagships.

While the timeline for the Phone 3’s debut points towards a likely July launch, echoing the release of the Nothing Phone 2 two years ago, Pei and the company have yet to disclose further specifics about the device.

In a recent engagement on social media platform X, Pei confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 will be available in the U.S., departing from the approach taken with the original Phone 1, which had a limited release in the country. The subsequent Phone 2 saw a broader introduction, although it remained unavailable through major carriers.

With the Phone 3 slated to enter the U.S. market amid tariff uncertainties, it may primarily be sold through Nothing’s own channels or through online retail partners like Amazon. There remains hope that the company might establish carrier partnerships this time around, significantly enhancing distribution and accessibility, potentially offering promotional deals that could attract a larger customer base.
