Today marks a special occasion as Maheep Kapoor, the wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor, celebrates her 52nd birthday. To honor his wife, Sanjay took to social media, sharing a touching tribute filled with nostalgic moments. The collage video featured a series of photos from their past vacations, intimate dinners, and cherished anniversaries.
In his Instagram post, Sanjay expressed his love, writing, “Happy birthday @maheepkapoor, 32nd birthday together.” The heartfelt clip was set to the iconic title track of the film Dil Chahta Hai.
The post quickly drew a flurry of reactions from fans and fellow celebrities. Maheep herself responded with multiple red heart emojis. Notable actress Malaika Arora also joined in, wishing Maheep with a warm birthday greeting, while Sussanne Khan sent her affectionate wishes, saying, “Happy happy birthday darling Maheepsss wish you sooo much love and the best of your life.”
Sanjay and Maheep, who began their journey together after five years of dating, are proud parents of two children. Their daughter, Shanaya Kapoor, was born in 1999, followed by their son, Jahaan Kapoor, in 2005.
In a candid revelation, Maheep once shared that her relationship with Sanjay started rather unexpectedly, describing it as arising from a “one-night stand” during a night out where she was quite inebriated. They had first crossed paths at a party that Maheep had crashed, and despite her condition, Sanjay’s family embraced her presence. Their bond flourished naturally, devoid of a formal proposal, eventually leading to their marriage.
Professionally, Maheep has established herself as a prominent socialite, jewelry designer, and entrepreneur. She gained widespread recognition after participating in the Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
Meanwhile, Sanjay recently made a brief appearance in the action thriller film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, which released on Eid 2025, also stars well-known actors such as Rashmika Mandanna and Sharman Joshi.
Looking ahead, their daughter Shanaya is set to debut in the romantic drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyaan, alongside Vikrant Massey, scheduled for release later this year. Additionally, she is slated to appear in a survival thriller named Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav.
