Samsung’s foldable devices from 2022 are now beginning to receive the One UI 7 update. This newest iteration of Samsung’s software, based on Android 15, is currently rolling out to the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4.

Although this update has initiated its deployment slightly earlier than anticipated—originally scheduled for a May release—it is presently limited to South Korea. It is expected to expand to additional countries worldwide in the coming days and weeks.
Neither of these models participated in Samsung’s beta testing for One UI 7, and the company has yet to release any official changelogs. This leaves uncertainty regarding the specific features included in the update. In Korea, the software version for these devices ends with HYD9, but this designation may differ in other regions.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 have also begun receiving the One UI 7 update; however, the rollout for these models is currently limited to India. The Galaxy S23 FE has also been updated in Korea, showing version S711NKSU5CYDA, with a download size of around 5GB that includes the April security patch.
This accelerating rollout suggests that Samsung may be working to enhance its delivery of One UI 7 updates following previous delays. Users are hopeful for a more streamlined process moving forward.
