This weekend at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) in Fort Worth, Texas, the NASCAR Cup Series will be accompanied by the Xfinity and Truck Series divisions.
The Cup Series field will feature the expected lineup of 36 chartered teams, though there won’t be any driver substitutions in that category. Additionally, two open teams are set to compete: Chad Finchum’s No. 66 from Garage 66 (formerly MBM Motorsports) and Jesse Love in the No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet.
Jesse Love, known for his two victories in the NASCAR Xfinity Series while driving for Richard Childress Racing (RCR), recently made his Cup debut with RCR. This weekend, he will join Riley Herbst as the only drivers participating in both Cup and Xfinity races, showcasing their versatility.
The Xfinity Series will see 40 cars vying for 38 available spots on the grid. Notable entrants include Katherine Legge in the No. 32 for Jordan Anderson Racing, alongside Riley Herbst in the No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing and Corey Day in the No. 17 for Hendrick Motorsports.
As is typical, the Truck Series features the fewest entries, with 32 drivers set to race in Texas. Regulars from the Xfinity Series, such as Nick Sanchez and Brandon Jones, will also be in action. Carson Hocevar stands out as the sole full-time Cup driver participating in this event, navigating the track in the No. 7 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports.
