Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt’s Collaborative Journey in Cinema
Ajay Devgn is marking his 56th birthday on April 2, with an outpouring of warm wishes from fans and fellow actors alike. Among them, his long-time friend and co-star Sanjay Dutt shared a nostalgic message, recalling their camaraderie in the film industry. Sanjay posted a throwback image on Instagram that captures a light-hearted moment between the two on the set of their comedy film, All The Best, from 2009. In the picture, Ajay sports a casual pink t-shirt, while Sanjay looks stylish in a black sleeveless top complemented by a white scarf.
Sanjay Dutt’s heartfelt caption read, “Happy Birthday Raju, wishing you another year of success and happiness, keep shining brother.”
Over the years, the duo has appeared together in a range of films, including Mehbooba, All The Best, Son of Sardaar, Rascals, Hum Kisise Kum Nahin, Raju Chacha, LOC Kargil, Tango Charlie, and Bhuj: The Pride of India. Their on-screen chemistry is set to be reignited in the forthcoming action-adventure film, Ranger, directed by Jagan Shakti.
Ranger is expected to begin filming in Summer 2025, with Ajay portraying a forest ranger and Sanjay as the main villain, indicating a thrilling clash between these two cinematic titans.
As reported by Pinkvilla, the film aims to be visually ambitious, utilizing advanced VFX technology to depict lush forests and wildlife. Additionally, Tamannaah Bhatia is slated to take on a significant role in the project.
In addition to Ranger, Ajay Devgn is preparing for the release of his thriller Raid 2, alongside co-stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla, which is set to hit theaters on May 1. Ajay has an exciting slate ahead, which includes Son of Sardaar 2, De De Pyaar De 2, and Dhamaal 4.
Sanjay Dutt, meanwhile, is gearing up to promote his horror action comedy, The Bhootnii, scheduled for release on April 18. The film features Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari. Additionally, he is involved in a variety of projects, including the pan-India film KD: The Devil and an action drama with Salman Khan titled Raja Saab.
