Hosting.com, formerly known as A2 Hosting, has unveiled a revamped website, introducing innovative features alongside an updated hosting panel.

Founded in 2001 as A2 Hosting, the company originated in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Co-founded by Bryan Muthig, it has grown to serve over two million websites across more than 40 locations globally.

On the unexpected rebranding, CEO Seb De Lamos expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled that A2 Hosting, which has long been a benchmark for superior performance and customer support, has evolved into a brand that elevates our offerings to a new level.”

The transition marks a significant milestone for Hosting.com, reflecting its sustained growth. The company aims to enhance brand visibility and foster a more extensive interconnected community, creating additional opportunities for users to engage and learn.

Different name, same values

While change can be daunting, Hosting.com assures its users that despite the new name, its commitment to exceptional support and reliable products remains unwavering. The company emphasized, “You will continue to receive the same robust hosting solutions and expert assistance available 24/7.”

In a recent blog post, Hosting.com highlighted that the rebranding is not about distancing from its origins, but rather about expanding its reach on a global platform. The core values of reliability, speed, and customer satisfaction, which have defined A2 Hosting, will continue to be central to Hosting.com’s mission.

With the new branding, Hosting.com will also invest more resources into enhancing their infrastructure and technology to better cater to customer demands.

Alongside the name change, the company is rolling out a new hosting panel. A closer exploration of the website reveals numerous changes, including updated product names and modified features within hosting plans. Some older offerings, such as dedicated hosting, are less visible from the homepage.

However, these services have not disappeared; they can still be discovered through a site search for “Node.js hosting,” indicating they remain part of the company’s offerings.

This rebranding represents a crucial shift for Hosting.com. The anticipation of reviewing new products and services is high, and it will be intriguing to see if the updates fulfill the promise of enhanced hosting capabilities from an already respected provider.
