Samsung is set to provide a comprehensive look at the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, with a launch anticipated shortly thereafter on May 23 in China and Korea, followed by a global release on May 30.
A recent leak appears to reveal a preliminary version of the press release Samsung is crafting for this highly anticipated launch. If this information holds true, the phone is expected to feature an impressive 200 MP main camera. Details suggest that the device will measure 5.8mm in thickness and weigh approximately 163g, making it lightweight and sleek. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and there are assurances of a robust battery life.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is set to debut with One UI 7, designed on the Android 15 platform. There’s also a reference to a “titanium bezel,” which may result from translation issues, and is likely meant to describe the frame of the device. The display will be fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, which has not yet been officially announced.
In terms of pricing, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to position itself between the Galaxy S25+—with which it shares its display size—and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Notably, this model will feature only two rear cameras and is rumored to have the smallest battery compared to others in the Galaxy S25 series.
