Aditi Sharma Responds to Estranged Husband’s Affair Allegations, Citing Threats and Insecurity
Aditi Sharma, a prominent figure in the television industry, has publicly addressed serious allegations made by her estranged husband, Abhineet Kaushik, who claims she was unfaithful with her co-star Samarthya Gupta.
In her response, Aditi emphasized that her relationship with Samarthya is purely platonic, describing them as “very good friends.” She revealed that Abhineet’s persistent accusations of infidelity stem from his ongoing insecurity, highlighting the emotional toll these claims have had on her.
Aditi recounted that any interaction with male colleagues would provoke Abhineet’s jealousy. “Even innocuous chat would lead him to use derogatory names,” she explained. “If I simply post a heart emoji in a conversation, it becomes a major issue.” During a counseling session, the therapist noted that Abhineet’s behavior was indicative of his personal insecurities, a revelation that resonated deeply with Aditi.
Reflecting on the early stages of their marriage, Aditi described facing severe challenges and conflicts within just a month. “There were significant issues, including misbehavior that I find difficult to discuss publicly at this time, as it will be taken up in court,” she shared.
Addressing claims of domestic abuse, Aditi firmly stated, “The domestic abuse did not originate from me. I felt compelled to leave my home for various reasons and was frightened for my safety.” She also mentioned involvement from individuals associated with the underworld, which adds a layer of complexity to her circumstances. Due to threats from Abhineet, she felt it necessary to limit her public statements.
In her statement, Aditi asserted her right as a woman to interact socially with her colleagues without facing unfounded accusations regarding her character. She argued that such claims can undermine a woman’s self-esteem and reflect poorly on the accuser’s mindset. “It highlights the kind of person he is and his line of thinking. His behavior has caused me to drift away from friends and family,” Aditi explained.
