Adnan Sami delivered a poignant reply to a tweet from Fawad Hussain that aimed to body-shame him.
Recently, a heated dialogue unfolded on Twitter between Indian musician Adnan Sami and former Pakistani Federal Minister Ch Fawad Hussain. The exchange, rooted in body image, quickly escalated and intrigued many on social media.
The incident was triggered when Ch Fawad Hussain, infamous for his provocative statements, tweeted a meme juxtaposing two pictures of Adnan Sami: one from earlier in his life when he was heavier, and another showcasing his significant weight loss after obtaining Indian citizenship. He cheekily captioned the post, “Hamara #Bumb wapis kerooo… @AdnanSamiLive,” insinuating that Pakistan longs for the former, heavier version of Sami.
This derisive comment did not sit well with Sami. Known for his quick wit, he retaliated with a sharp response, stating, “Oye CH, It took you a whole day to recover from the umbrella I opened inside you & then you came up with this?? Kher, koi nahin, that’s what happens when you’re intellectually challenged! Now… Tere hotay huay Pak ko na #Bumb ki kami hai na BUM Ki!!!”

To provide some context, Adnan Sami, once hailed as a prominent musical figure in Pakistan, became an Indian citizen in 2016. Since then, he has frequently faced trolling and political commentary from across the border. Nevertheless, Sami often counters such remarks with humor, proudly affirming his identity and personal journey.
Sami’s career has spanned several decades, with his debut single “Run for His Life” hitting number one on Middle Eastern music charts in 1986.
