The series takes its name from the catchy song that became popular during Agatha’s villainous reveal in “WandaVision.” “Agatha All Along” continues the story of Agatha Harkness, who finds herself without her magical abilities, having been stripped of her powers by a goth teenager. This new character assists her in breaking free from Wanda’s spell that concluded the previous series.

While “WandaVision” was primarily designed to complement the broader narrative of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, executives at Disney+ and Marvel have opted for a fresh approach with “Agatha.” Rather than following the common format of a limited series, Marvel TV head Brad Winderbaum stated that they are revising their television strategy. The aim is to adopt a more traditional multi-season model, creating shows that are intended to have longevity rather than being one-off ventures.

The casting for the series includes Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as Agatha. Joining her is Aubrey Plaza, portraying Rio Vidal, a new character who becomes part of Agatha’s coven. Other notable actors set to appear include Patti LuPone, Billy Kaplan, and Jennifer Kale.

For fans eager to mark their calendars, here is the complete episode release schedule:

Episode 4: Oct. 2

Episode 5: Oct. 9
