An airline based in Tahiti is providing substantial discounts for children flying to the island with their families.This offer is applicable for flights departing from certain U.S. airports to Tahiti.Parents will only need to pay taxes associated with their child’s airfare for the entirety of 2025.

A family getaway to a tropical paradise is now more accessible than ever. Air Tahiti Nui is continuing its popular ‘Kids Fly (almost) Free’ initiative, which offers two significantly discounted tickets for children aged up to 11 years when traveling alongside their parents. This promotion is available for flights from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Fa’a’ā International Airport in Tahiti. The discounts apply to the base fare, meaning the only cost parents need to cover is the associated taxes, allowing for considerable savings on family travel.

It’s important to note that this promotion cannot be booked online, as indicated by a representative from the airline. Families wishing to take advantage of the discounted fare are encouraged to contact a travel advisor or call Air Tahiti directly for assistance.

This promotion remains valid until the conclusion of 2025. For adults, round-trip fares are priced at approximately $1,480 during peak travel periods and about $1,280 during off-peak times. A recent check by Travel + Leisure indicated taxes amounting to $37.50, considerably lower than the full fare, making the trip even more appealing for families.

Air Tahiti Nui also provides several family-friendly perks included in the original ticket price. For instance, parents can bring a folding stroller for free, one per child up to 23 months of age.
