During a recent screening of Kesari 2, Akshay Kumar and his fans voiced a strong message against terrorism, mirroring the widespread outrage following the tragic Pahalgam incident.
The film Kesari 2, starring Akshay Kumar, has been performing impressively at the box office, having earned over ₹50 crore in its first eight days despite a limited release. This courtroom drama continues to gain traction. On April 26, Akshay, alongside co-star R Madhavan, made a surprise appearance at a special screening in Juhu, Mumbai, where he addressed the Pahalgam terror attack, resonating deeply with the audience’s sentiments against violence.
“Unfortunately, we still feel that anger in our hearts. You all know exactly what I’m referring to. Today, I want to say to the terrorists what I’ve expressed in this film. What?” Akshay remarked, emphasizing the collective frustration towards terrorism.
The crowd responded enthusiastically, echoing Akshay’s words with a united shout: “F*** you.” This moment of solidarity created an electrifying atmosphere in the theater, as both the star and moviegoers connected on a profound level.
Previously, Akshay had shared his feelings on social media regarding the Pahalgam attack, which resulted in the tragic loss of 26 innocent lives and left many injured. He expressed his horror, stating, “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families,” on X.
Similarly, Madhavan condemned the heinous act of terrorism on Indian soil and supported the film industry’s stance on not collaborating with Pakistani artists.
