Peacock has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated third season of its Emmy Award-winning competition reality series, The Traitors. This season is set to premiere on January 9 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET with a special three-episode launch event.
Once again, the series will be hosted by the acclaimed Tony Award winner Alan Cumming. The upcoming season features a diverse cast of contestants, including four Real Housewives and Bob The Drag Queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Following the premiere, viewers can expect new episodes every Thursday at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET, culminating in the finale and reunion scheduled for March 6 on Peacock.

Season 2 of The Traitors achieved remarkable success, becoming the most-watched unscripted series in the U.S. during its launch week, per Nielsen ratings. It garnered four Primetime Emmy Award nominations, securing wins for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program, awarded to Alan Cumming. The inaugural season also received an Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program.
In addition to the new season, NBC will air the first two episodes of The Traitors Season 3 on January 20 at 8 PM ET/PT and 9:30 PM ET/PT. Fans can also binge-watch the first two seasons of the show on Peacock.
Further enhancing the excitement around the series, Peacock has announced The Traitors Experience, a unique immersive game experience in Los Angeles. Produced by JFI Productions, this interactive event will take fans inside the series’ Scottish castle setting, allowing them to engage in a version of the show’s intense competition with exciting games and puzzles aimed at uncovering “THE TRAITORS” among their peers. Overview of The Traitors
The Traitors is a gripping psychological competition that merges strategy and deception. Contestants, including some of reality television’s most notable figures, take part in a high-stakes murder mystery game. Set in an ancient castle nestled in the Scottish Highlands and hosted by the celebrated Alan Cumming, players embark on thrilling missions to build a prize pot that can reach $250,000. Within the group, the secretive Traitors aim to eliminate their fellow contestants—the Faithful—while the latter seek to expose and vote out the Traitors. If successful, the Faithful share the prize; if a Traitor remains until the end, they claim the entire amount.
