Allu Aravind Reacts to Attack Linked to Pushpa 2 Incident

In a recent incident, the residence of Allu Arjun in Hyderabad was vandalized amid protests connected to the tragic events surrounding the Pushpa 2 premiere. Protestors, reportedly affiliated with Osmania University, stormed the property on Sunday, expressing their outrage over a stampede that claimed the life of a woman during the film’s release.

The protestors demonstrated outside the actor’s home, throwing stones, breaking flower pots, and displaying placards demanding justice for the deceased. Allu Aravind, the actor’s father, addressed the media about the situation, emphasizing the need for calm and restraint in the face of such incidents.

Speaking to reporters at their residence, Allu Aravind noted, “Everyone has witnessed the events at our house today. However, this is not the moment for reaction. The police are actively managing the situation, having arrested those responsible for the vandalism and filed legal charges against them. We should not support actions like this,” he added, highlighting the importance of maintaining dignity and allowing the legal system to proceed. “The law will take its own course,” he reiterated, urging for patience rather than impulsive responses.

Details of the Vandalism

Reports indicated that the protestors were visibly agitated, with one stating, “We expect Allu Arjun to support the family of the late Revathi. It’s disheartening to see the film industry rally around celebrities but neglect those in need during tragedies.” As police intervened, six individuals, believed to be members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee, were taken into custody, according to ANI.

The incident unfolded against the backdrop of the deadly stampede that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4 at the Sandhya Theatre, where a crowd surge resulted in chaos. Tragically, a 35-year-old woman lost her life, and her son sustained serious injuries during the event.

Background on the Pushpa 2 Stampede

In the aftermath of the stampede, local law enforcement initiated a case against Allu Arjun, his bodyguards, and the management of the theatre, driven by concerns raised by the victim’s family. The allegations led to Allu Arjun’s arrest on December 13, though he was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court shortly thereafter, leading to his release the following day.
