‘Liza: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story’ Documentary Trailer Released
A new trailer and poster have been unveiled for the upcoming documentary about Liza Minnelli, titled ‘Liza: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story’.
In a reflective moment captured in the trailer, Minnelli expresses gratitude for her life experiences, stating, “How lucky am I to have gone through all of the bad stuff that I have gone through because it prepared me for the rest of my life.” The footage highlights pivotal events from her remarkable career.
As reported previously by BroadwayWorld, the documentary has been picked up by Zeitgeist Films and Kino Lorber, with plans for a theatrical release set for 2025. The film will debut on January 24, 2025, at the IFC Center in New York City, followed by a screening on January 31 at Laemmle’s Royal in Los Angeles and Town Center in Encino, California.
