Fernando Rivera, the hotel’s general manager, emphasized the project’s commitment to preserving the location’s rich heritage while incorporating modern design elements. He noted that the hotel features a flowing, organic aesthetic inspired by the ocean, with round shapes and gentle curves integrated throughout the space.

The hotel will offer 287 guest rooms, including 64 suites that can be combined to accommodate families or groups. Each room showcases a palette of calming neutrals complemented by ocean-inspired hues, with design elements such as rounded headboards and sculptural ceilings enhancing the soothing atmosphere. Many accommodations feature expansive windows or terraces that present breathtaking views of the ocean or city skyline. Guests can refresh in elegant bathrooms equipped with generous showers and luxury refillable toiletries by Byredo.

The Ondara Spa at Andaz Miami Beach is poised to become a sanctuary for relaxation, featuring a diverse array of treatments and services tailored for both daytime rejuvenation and evening preps. Guests can also take advantage of a state-of-the-art fitness center, which will include Peloton bikes and the innovative Tonal machine.

Food enthusiasts will find a culinary delight at Andaz Miami Beach, thanks to its collaboration with the José Andrés Group. This partnership will introduce three distinctive dining experiences, including a signature restaurant, a craft cocktail bar, and a modern cuisine venue that emphasizes locally sourced ingredients. Rivera highlighted the hotel’s focus on the local Miami spirit through its culinary offerings, featuring coffee from a local roaster and craft beer from nearby breweries.

Meteor Rivera explained that the hotel embraces environmentally friendly practices, boasting a 95% LED lighting compliance and low-flow water systems. Guests will have access to refillable water bottles and can utilize water stations throughout the property to reduce plastic waste.

Furthermore, the hotel’s design pays homage to Miami’s vibrant culture and art deco legacy, aiming to immerse guests in the local lifestyle. Planned activities include salsa lessons, architectural tours, trivia nights centered on Miami themes, and mindfulness classes that include mala-making sessions.
