Spring Break Adventures: Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper Celebrate Family Time at Disney World
Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper teamed up for an unforgettable spring break trip to Disney World, a journey they both described as “epic.” The two well-known television personalities shared the experience with their children, marking a highlight in their long-standing friendship.
On April 18, Cohen, 56, took to Instagram to showcase a joyful moment on the TRON Lightcycle/Run ride at Magic Kingdom. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Had an epic Spring Break with AC’s fam at Disney & Universal! It was the ultimate family vacation. What a joy!”
Cooper, who is 57, is a father to two young boys, Wyatt, 4, and Sebastian, 3, whom he co-parents with ex-partner Benjamin Maisani. Likewise, Cohen is a father of two, with his son Benjamin, 6, and daughter Lucy, who is soon celebrating her third birthday on April 29.
In another Instagram post, Cohen shared an endearing video of Lucy embracing Daisy Duck, accompanied by the sweet melody of the Jerry Garcia song “They Love Each Other.” In a lighthearted commentary about potential conflicts within his television network, Cohen quipped, “They squashed the beef!!!!! And if Lucy & Daisy Duck can figure things out, I think we can spread this vibe to the Bravoverse…”
The humorous comment resonated with several stars from the Real Housewives franchise, sparking laughter in the comments. Margaret Josephs humorously noted, “In the Bravoverse we don’t get to beef with lovable Daisy, we have Cruella and Malificent ,” while Heather Dubrow echoed her amusement with a series of laughing emojis.
Cooper and Cohen’s friendship spans over two decades, dating back to when they were introduced through mutual friends. Their bond has been fortified through shared experiences, including family vacations and collaborative television appearances.
As fathers, they relish the opportunity to indulge in family activities together. However, Cohen has humorously pointed out some of the contrasts in their parenting styles. During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark in May 2024, he confessed to finding it “annoying” that Cooper’s children consistently exhibit such good behavior compared to his own. “His kids also don’t ever seem to do anything wrong, and it annoys me so much!” Cohen remarked. “I’m like, ‘My kid is just out of a time-out and headed into another time-out.’ And his kids are like, ‘Yes, daddy, I will do that.’ It’s very annoying.”
Cohen humorously continued, wondering if Cooper’s children ever cry, reflecting on the typical challenges that come with parenting. He has previously shared that experiencing parenthood alongside Cooper has served as a strong bonding experience, describing the two of them as “geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children.” He acknowledged that this shared journey has added a new dimension to their friendship.
Moreover, Cohen expressed hope for their children to grow up together, noting the importance of their kids understanding and embracing the fact that they have gay fathers. He stated, “I am so glad that Ben will grow up with Wyatt and that Ben will grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin raising Wyatt and Sebastian.”
