Apple Poised for Major Hardware Launches This Fall
As autumn approaches, Apple is set to unveil a range of new hardware products. In the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg indicates that Apple will likely announce updated MacBook Pro models, a revamped Mac mini, an M4 iMac, and a new iPad mini by the end of this month, with a potential rollout date set for November 1.
Gurman suggests that the new lineup will feature both low-end and high-end 14-inch MacBook Pro models, each equipped with M4 processors. Additionally, a premium 16-inch MacBook Pro is also on the docket. The forthcoming Mac mini is highlighted as possibly being significantly smaller than previous iterations, with dimensions comparable to those of an Apple TV. This more compact design might also mean the exclusion of traditional USB-A ports, as Gurman has previously mentioned.
Looking beyond this fall’s announcements, Gurman anticipates that an array of other Apple products will be ready for launch in early 2025. This includes the introducing of 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models powered by M4 technology, as well as refreshed versions of the iPhone SE and iPad Air in both configurations. Such developments point to a robust product strategy as Apple continues to innovate and evolve its hardware offerings.
