Nasa Stennis Space Center staff members were acknowledged with Honoree Awards from NASA’s Space Flight Awareness Program on March 10 in Orlando, Florida, recognizing their exemplary contributions to human spaceflight.
In addition, NASA Stennis collaborated with the Mississippi Enterprise for Technology to host over 100 personnel from the 57th Rocket Test Group during a two-day event on March 18-19.
During their visit on March 19, the group explored the center to better understand how NASA Stennis functions as the nation’s primary rocket propulsion test site, showcasing its valuable capabilities and expertise in serving both national and commercial sectors.

Recent updates from NASA include significant milestones such as the Artemis II Orion Service Module being prepared for launch, the successful return of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 after their science mission, ongoing science efforts following Firefly’s first lunar mission, and the Artemis II Core Stage transitioning to a horizontal position in preparation for final integration.
