Ashish Chanchlani Cancels Valentine’s Event Amid Health Concerns Following Controversy Surrounding Samay Raina’s Show
YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani has decided to forgo his scheduled Valentine’s Day event, a decision influenced by health-related issues and the ongoing controversy regarding an episode of Samay Raina’s YouTube show, India’s Got Latent.
Chanchlani announced his decision through an Instagram post, where he cited his well-being as the reason for stepping back from hosting the screening of the much-anticipated film, “Captain America: Brave New World.” His announcement comes against a backdrop of heightened scrutiny linked to a recent episode featuring fellow YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, whose remarks regarding “parental sex” ignited significant backlash across social media platforms.
In his message, Chanchlani expressed his disappointment, stating, “Hello doston, I am not keeping well, so unfortunately I won’t be able to attend & host the screening of the film on Valentine’s Day. But don’t worry, those who are selected can still go & enjoy the show. I know, I am gonna miss y’all so much! Love you 3000.”
Controversy Involving Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina
The controversy surrounding the episode has escalated, prompting the Mumbai Police to issue a second summons to Ranveer Allahbadia, widely recognized as BeerBiceps. The police have requested his presence for questioning on February 14, following his earlier failure to appear for a scheduled statement regarding his controversial comments on the show. Authorities have urged him to comply amid the ongoing investigation.
In a related development, Allahbadia has requested that the police take his statement at his home rather than at the police station, a request that was not granted. Instead, he is required to report to the Khar Police Station.
Meanwhile, in a further twist, an Assam Police team is traveling from Mumbai to visit the residence of Samay Raina in Pune. They intend to serve a notice requiring Raina to appear in Guwahati within four days, as the investigation continues to unfold.
