Asim Riaz has ignited controversy after an incident that led to his reported removal from the reality television show Battleground. This occurred following a significant conflict with fellow judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan, known as Fukra Insaan.
The former Bigg Boss 13 contender has found himself back in controversy, this time stemming from his role as a judge on the fitness reality competition, Battleground. Reports indicate that Asim has been dismissed from the show after a heated exchange with co-judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan.
According to information from India Today, tensions peaked on April 17 during what began as a minor disagreement but quickly intensified. Sources suggest that Asim may have insulted Rubina when she attempted to mediate, leading to an explosive confrontation. The filming was abruptly halted as all three judges exited to their respective vans. Discussions are reportedly ongoing between Asim’s representatives and the show’s producers to handle the situation.
Adding fuel to the fire, Asim posted a cryptic message on his Instagram on April 19. In the post, he held a cigarette and shared a caption reading “SCRIPTED” alongside a middle finger emoji, which many interpret as a direct jab at the show.
This incident isn’t the first instance of Asim’s temperament causing trouble for him. Last year, he was also removed from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 after a tense exchange with host Rohit Shetty. After struggling to finish a stunt, he challenged the production team to attempt the task themselves, stating, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee if you succeed.” In response, Shetty showcased footage of a crew member completing the challenge, effectively ending the dispute.
Asim Riaz’s journey from reality TV fame to real-life drama continues to provoke discussions. Whether he will make a return to Battleground remains uncertain, but his determination to voice his opinions is unmistakable.
