In his Instagram story posted on Sunday evening, Asim Riaz criticized Shukla’s involvement in a discussion that he believed was meant for the judges of ‘Battleground.’ Riaz expressed disbelief that Shukla inserted himself into the dialogue that did not concern him. He stated, “Four judges were engaged in a significant discussion… Why did you feel the need to interject? It’s not a private chat; don’t play the hero in a scene where you don’t belong.” He also suggested that Shukla only seeks attention when the names of others can elevate his own relevance.
Additionally, Riaz reacted dismissively to Shukla’s claim about receiving a threatening message from a so-called fan of his. He stated emphatically, “Stop trying to gain sympathy from dubious comments posted by anonymous accounts. This is social media—anyone can type anything. Either face challenges head-on or remain silent.”
Asim also addressed Shukla’s veiled insinuation that he might be using performance-enhancing drugs to maintain his physique, emphasizing that it is a simplistic view of fitness. He defended his hard work, stating, “Only someone who has never exercised would accuse another of using ‘steroids’ when encountering a different physique. I’ve built this body, name, and reputation through dedication—rep by rep. If you perceive it as substances, I see it as substance. I thrive independently; yield the space and stay within your limits,” he concluded.
Abhinav Shukla’s Disturbing Death Threat
On the same day, Abhinav Shukla took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a screenshot of a threatening Instagram message he had received. This message, allegedly sent from a user named Ankush Gupta, included aggressive language and referenced a serious incident from 2024 involving gunfire near Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence. The sender detailed a brazen intent to attack, stating, “I am affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. I know your address. Should I come over? Just as Salman Khan was shot at, I’ll visit and shoot you with an AK-47,” as translated from Hindi.
The message escalated further as the sender threatened Shukla’s family and security personnel, claiming knowledge of Shukla’s daily routines. They warned, “This is your final warning. If you speak against Asim again, you’ll find your name on my list. Lawrence Bishnoi stands with Asim.”
