In an exciting development for the streaming community, Asmongold has emerged as North America’s leading streamer in 2025, outpacing other well-known competitors like Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and TimTheTatman.
The first quarter of the year has brought several unexpected outcomes in the world of streaming, with Asmongold ascending to the top of the rankings. Amazon’s Twitch platform continues to be a primary venue for streamers looking to maximize their audience engagement, and Asmongold has strategically utilized his recent popularity to dive into politically themed discussions, attracting a larger viewer base.
So far, Asmongold’s impressive performance has allowed him to surpass Kai Cenat, placing him only behind two other global streaming figures.
Asmongold’s Ascendancy on Twitch: Notable Viewer Numbers
According to a report by StreamsCharts, Asmongold has already amassed an impressive total of 26.22 million hours of content watched in 2025, which exceeds Cenat’s viewership by four hours.
Despite this success, it’s worth noting that Asmongold’s streaming hours were significantly higher, totaling 567 hours compared to Cenat’s 274 hours, further contributing to his viewer count.
In terms of total streaming hours, no one surpassed TimTheTatman, who thrived on the popularity of his Marvel Rivals playthrough, attracting over 20 million hours of viewership with an extensive 1,002 hours streamed.
Canadian streamer xQc led his category with 17.61 million hours watched, while the globe-trotting IShowSpeed ranked as North America’s top YouTuber with nearly 16 million hours viewed.
Beyond North America, two other streamers currently overshadow Asmongold in global rankings.
Caedrel, who topped the Twitch charts in March, has gained significant traction in Europe with 30.28 million hours viewed, primarily driven by his popular League of Legends streams.
Leading worldwide is Brazilian streamer CazéTV, who has captivated audiences with football commentary, notably streaming the 2025 Campeonato Paulista final, which peaked at 5.16 million viewers. This year, he has achieved an astounding 167.50 million hours watched—an impressive margin over his peers.
While matching CazéTV’s numbers may seem like a daunting task, the ongoing rivalry between Asmongold and Caedrel adds an intriguing layer to the streaming landscape as 2025 progresses.
