Asus Launches Vivobook S14 and S14 Flip in India

On Tuesday, Asus introduced the latest additions to its Vivobook lineup in India, unveiling the Vivobook S14 and the versatile Vivobook S14 Flip. These laptops are powered by 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processors that come with integrated Intel UHD graphics, along with a substantial 16GB of RAM for multitasking capabilities. Notably, both devices feature 14-inch screens, with the S14 Flip offering a touch-sensitive display and stylus compatibility, enhancing its functionality.

Pricing Details for the Vivobook S14 Series

The Asus Vivobook S14 is available in India starting at ₹67,990, while the Vivobook S14 Flip is priced from ₹69,990. Both models are showcased in an elegant Cool Silver finish.

Potential buyers can find the 2-in-1 Vivobook S14 Flip for sale on the Asus e-shop and Flipkart, in addition to Asus’s exclusive stores and various multi-brand retail outlets. In contrast, the standard Vivobook S14 will be available through the Asus e-shop and Flipkart.

Specifications of the New Vivobook Models

Both the Vivobook S14 and S14 Flip feature a 14-inch WUXGA IPS LCD display, offering a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels. With a refresh rate of 60Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and brightness levels peaking at 300 nits, the viewing experience is quite enhanced. The S14 Flip, being a convertible, includes a touchscreen with stylus support and a 360-degree rotation capability.

Under the hood, these laptops are equipped with the Intel Core i5-13420H CPU and Intel UHD graphics. The RAM capacity starts at 16GB but can be expanded to 24GB using an additional slot. Storage is managed via a fast 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD.

For visual capabilities, both models incorporate a Full-HD 1080p camera featuring a privacy shutter. Connectivity options are robust, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The Vivobook S14 comes with two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, and an HDMI 2.1 port.

In contrast, the Vivobook S14 Flip is fitted with one USB 2.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, another USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and an HDMI 2.1 connection. A 3.5mm audio jack is standard on both models.

The Vivobook S14 features a 4-cell 70Wh lithium-ion battery, supporting fast charging at 65W, while the S14 Flip contains a 3-cell 50Wh battery with a quicker 90W charging capability. Both devices are certified under the US MIL-STD 810H standard for durability, making them resilient choices for users on the go. Dimensional specifications show the Vivobook S14 measuring 315.2×223.4×17.9mm and weighing 1.4kg, whereas the Vivobook S14 Flip is slightly thicker at 313.2×227.6×18.9mm and weighs in at 1.5kg.
