AYANEO Unveils New Gaming Devices Powered by Snapdragon G3 Gen 3
AYANEO has introduced its inaugural Android gaming device, referred to as a “gaming pad”, alongside a new traditional handheld console. Both devices are propelled by the latest Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset, marking a significant step in portable gaming. The newly coined device is the AYANEO Gaming Pad, while the other model is dubbed the Pocket S2.
Features of the AYANEO Gaming Pad
The AYANEO Gaming Pad boasts an 8.3-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1440p. This configuration nearly maximizes the capabilities of the G3 chipset, which can handle display settings of 1440p at 144Hz. The device is encased in a durable all-metal frame, and the Explorer Edition offers a unique transparent glass back.
Moreover, the Gaming Pad is designed with an active cooling system that includes a fan and high-efficiency thermal materials, ensuring reliable performance levels even during extended gaming periods.
While it can function independently, the Gaming Pad performs exceptionally when combined with a telescopic gaming controller. It also supports a variety of other controllers, including keyboards and mice, thanks to its Android operating system.

Enhanced User Experience
Users will appreciate the inclusion of a six-axis gyroscope for motion controls, enhancing gameplay in compatible shooting and racing titles.
The device is also equipped with quad-chamber speakers, ensuring an immersive audio experience. For content creators and gamers who enjoy live streaming, the Gaming Pad features a front-facing 5MP camera, along with a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera (120°) on the rear to facilitate high-quality photography and video recording.
Power Boost with Snapdragon G3 Gen 3
At the heart of the AYANEO devices is the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3, which significantly boosts performance with a CPU that is 30% quicker compared to its predecessor and a GPU that shows a 28% improvement. The new chip also supports cutting-edge technologies such as UE5’s Lumen lighting and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Furthermore, compatibility with Wi-Fi 7 ensures enthusiasts can stream their gameplay with reduced latency.
A Closer Look at AYANEO Pocket S2
For those in search of portability, the AYANEO Pocket S2 presents an alternative, equipped with the same Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 architecture but featuring a smaller 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution exceeding 1440p. The controls on this device are embedded, and like the Gaming Pad, it incorporates active cooling features for enhanced performance during gaming sessions.
The Pocket S2 is designed with Hall effect joysticks and linear triggers, providing enhanced tactile feedback during gameplay. Additionally, the device features dual X-axis motors for haptic responses. Its housing is constructed from CNC-machined metal, and it claims to have the largest battery capacity among Android handheld devices of its dimensions, although specific battery specifications have yet to be disclosed.
