Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film, I Want To Talk, has garnered significant attention and praise from fans and industry figures alike. Starring Abhishek Bachchan in the principal role, the movie is scheduled for theatrical release on November 22. Khurrana shared his excitement for the trailer on his social media platforms.

On his Instagram stories, Khurrana posted the trailer, commenting, “Expect Something Special if it’s dada.” Similarly, Vicky Kaushal expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Classic Shooji Da… raw, beautiful and blissful! Can’t wait to watch it this 22nd Nov :)”. The trailer begins with Abhishek Bachchan, portrayed with a cervical collar, being assisted in speech by his daughter, played by Ahilya Bamroo, during his recovery journey. Although initially attempting to speak, he quickly struggles and falls silent. The story unfolds with Arjun discussing the essence of storytelling, juxtaposed with his and his daughter’s life abroad as he navigates hospital visits and therapy sessions, emphasizing their intricate father-daughter relationship from childhood.

Earlier this year in August, Shoojit Sircar shared insights about the film and praised Abhishek’s performance. He described it as a “very simple observation of life with a little smile,” and noted that the post-production process evokes happiness. Sircar expressed his belief that this film is one of Abhishek Bachchan’s finest works, having longed to collaborate with him but waiting for the right script to materialize.

Despite previously releasing Gulaabo Sitabo and Sardar Udham, I Want To Talk marks Shoojit Sircar’s first big screen project since 2018’s October, featuring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu. Reflecting on his deliberate pace of filmmaking, Sircar commented, “I make very few films, and my subjects are often offbeat, usually revolving around everyday life. While some may not resonate with them, I am grateful to those who do.”

Currently, Ayushmann Khurrana is working alongside Sara Ali Khan on an untitled film, with both actors shooting in Manali. The actress has been actively sharing behind-the-scenes updates, although limited details about the project have surfaced so far.
