Bar Convent Brooklyn 2025 to Showcase Beverage Industry Innovations
The Bar Convent Brooklyn (BCB) is set to return to Industry City in Brooklyn, New York, on June 10–11, 2025. This seventh annual gathering for bar and beverage professionals aims to eclipse last year’s attendance record, which saw more than 5,300 industry participants and 230 exhibitors from 48 countries and 47 U.S. states.
The upcoming event promises exciting new features, including enhanced courtyard activations and several specialized areas, such as the Author’s Alley, where industry authors can interact with attendees and promote their works. Additionally, the Italian Trade Agency Pavilion and a focus on low- and no-alcohol products are set to be highlights of this year’s fair. For an elevated experience, attendees can opt for a new VIP+ badge, which grants access to a VIP lounge, welcome packages, networking opportunities, private tastings, and exclusive “Crafted Conversations” with seasoned experts.
An extensive educational program will be led by a committee of industry luminaries, including Lynnette Marrero, Derek Brown, and Julie Reiner. Attendees can expect more than 50 panels covering a diverse range of topics, from digital branding and pricing strategies to specific subject explorations like “Cocktails, Cameras, and Credibility: Taking Your Career Online,” and “Gin: A Spirited & Turbulent Love Story.”
Jackie Williams, vice president of BCB Brooklyn, emphasized the event’s mission by saying, “From education seminars and thoughtfully curated programming to interactive experiences and cocktail demonstrations, we remain committed to empowering beverage professionals from around the world. As we look towards June 2025, the BCB Brooklyn team is excited to be a hub for connection, as professionals come together to push beverage industry innovation forward.”
A notable addition this year is the Brand Accelerator Pitch Competition, introduced in collaboration with Women of the Vine & Spirits and Diverse Powered Brands. This competition is tailored for first-time exhibitors, brands showcased in the Emerging Brands Pavilion, or companies younger than five years. Finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their products to a panel of industry experts, with the winner to be revealed on June 11.
Beyond educational pursuits, BCB Brooklyn intends to reinforce its role as a social hub for the global bar community, fostering connections and collaborations. Last year’s event saw an impressive 550,000 samples poured, and this year is expected to bring an even more vibrant atmosphere, transforming Industry City’s courtyards into a lively space filled with music, games, and interactive activities.
Tickets for the event are currently available via the BCB Brooklyn website.
