Bear Brown and Raiven Announce Separation After Three Years of Marriage
The reality television couple, Bear Brown, 37, and Raiven, 27, known for their appearances on “Alaskan Bush People,” have decided to part ways after three years of marriage.
Raiven took to Instagram on Monday to share the news, stating, “Bear and I have separated. We have decided to go our separate ways after years of trying, and we believe it’s better to co-parent and pursue happiness separately. We remain friends and care for one another, but ultimately, it was not possible to work through our differences.”
Together, they have three children: sons River, Cove, and Everest.
Raiven expressed her commitment to effective co-parenting, saying, “We will co-parent well, and both parents will be actively involved! There is no anger behind this decision; it’s something we’ve been discussing and managing for some time now. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us, and we hope you can continue to do so as we move forward.”
Bear also addressed the situation in a separate post, stating, “Raiven and I have decided to separate. We are still good friends and will co-parent together. This is something we’ve discussed for a while, and we truly believe it is the best decision for us and our children.”
He added, “There are no hard feelings between us, and we will always have love for each other! This was a mutual decision, so please be respectful to Raiven and refrain from negativity. Thank you for all your support over the years!”
Recently, Raiven opened up about their struggles in the marriage, indicating that both parties contributed to their challenges. In a now-deleted TikTok post, she reflected, “I want to firstly say, we both have matured. There was no singular person responsible for our issues; it was a joint effort. While some might say that one person was more difficult, I’m sure he could say the same about me.”
Raiven highlighted the importance of shifting their mindset from being adversarial to finding collective solutions, stating, “Instead of asking, ‘Who is at fault here?’ we focused on ‘What is the solution?’ Two people can both be at fault.”
Bear and Raiven’s romance began in 2018 after meeting at Noah Brown’s wedding. They became engaged in the summer of 2019 and tied the knot in 2022, navigating various challenges throughout their relationship.
