Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh are in Delhi to promote their upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi.
Mere Husband Ki Biwi is set to release on February 21.
Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh are eagerly engaging in promotional activities for their forthcoming romantic comedy, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The film features a comedic love triangle, showcasing Arjun as Ankur Chaddha, a man from Delhi torn between two significant women in his life. Bhumi portrays his ex-girlfriend Prabhleen Dhillon, who unexpectedly resurfaces, while Rakul plays Antara Mitra, Ankur’s current love interest. The narrative promises a blend of chaos, humor, and charming confusion, ensuring an entertaining cinematic experience.
While in Delhi for promotional events, Bhumi offered a playful glimpse into her character during a media interaction. Accompanied by Arjun, Rakul, and comedian Harsh Gujral, she creatively illustrated Prabhleen’s essence using the iconic Hawa Hawaii song from the classic 1987 film Mr. India.
Subsequently, Bhumi shared a fun-filled clip from this moment on her Instagram Stories, humorously captioning it: “She is the actual danger lanka :))) Prabhleen Dhillon.”
The promotions for Mere Husband Ki Biwi have been filled with laughter and light-hearted interactions, as evidenced by the humorous social media posts shared by the cast. Recently, Rakul entertained her followers with a comical video featuring Arjun, reflecting the enjoyable atmosphere surrounding the film’s promotion.
In this entertaining clip, Arjun jokingly references the well-known joke from the movie Judaai, asking Rakul if she would “sell” him for Rs 2 crores. Rakul’s initial shocked response, “Pagal ho kya? (Are you crazy?),” quickly transitions to her playful retort: “5 crore se kam nahi loongi! (I won’t take less than Rs 5 crores).” Their comedic exchange elicited laughter and showcased their strong on-screen chemistry.
In another amusing segment shared by Rakul, her character interrogates Arjun about a girl he has been interacting with online. The banter unfolds when she asks, “Kaun hai yeh ladki? (Who is this girl?),” to which Arjun defensively replies, “Arrey yaar, kaisi shakki aurat ho tum? Bua ki ladki hai ye. Bachpan mein saath mein khela karte the hum. Chi yaar! (Oh come on, why are you so suspicious? She’s my aunt’s daughter. We used to play together as kids).” The twist reveals that the online account actually belongs to his wife, who created a fake profile to catch him off guard, adding a layer of comedic intrigue to their conversation.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Mere Husband Ki Biwi is produced by Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani under the banner of Pooja Entertainment. Audiences can look forward to the film’s release in theaters on February 21.
