Big Apple Circus to Host Inaugural Pride Night
The Big Apple Circus, in collaboration with Broadway Cares, is set to launch its first-ever ‘Pride Night’ on November 22 at Lincoln Center. This event will honor the LGBTQ+ community while highlighting the synergy between the performing arts and advocacy, with a significant portion of the ticket sales directed to Broadway Cares.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, Tony and Grammy Award-winner J. Harrison Ghee will serve as the guest ringmaster. Ghee is expected to share some inspiring remarks prior to the performance, setting a celebratory tone for the night.
The event promises a vibrant atmosphere complemented by a variety of entertainment options. Attendees can look forward to a lively DJ, themed decorations adorning the venue, and interactive experiences such as face-painting for guests of all ages and creative balloon artists.
Culinary highlights will include specially themed treats like Funfetti popcorn, rainbow cupcakes, and a selection of pride cocktails and mocktails, ensuring that guests can savor the spirit of the evening in every aspect.
The Big Apple Circus’s production titled “Hometown Playground” is currently running and will continue through January 5, 2025. For more details on this event and to purchase tickets, which start at $55, please visit www.bigapplecircus.com.
