Bigg Boss 18 Contestant Rajat Dalal Questions Karan Veer Mehra’s Victory
Rajat Dalal, a participant in Bigg Boss 18, expressed his belief that Vivian Dsena was a more deserving winner of the competition than Karan Veer Mehra. In a recent interview on ‘Insider With Faisu’ with Faisal Shaikh, Dalal raised concerns over the integrity of the voting process that led to Mehra’s victory.
Dalal remarked that he was uncertain about the details surrounding the voting outcome and questioned whether a software malfunction may have influenced the results. He suggested that Karan Veer Mehra’s win did not reflect genuine public sentiment but rather the nature of the game itself. “For the first time, it felt like the Bigg Boss show was not won based on votes but based on personality,” he stated.
When asked directly about the legitimacy of Karan’s win, Rajat responded, “I don’t feel like things happened based on votes. It seemed like the voting did not follow a proper procedure.” He emphasized that something seemed amiss, implying a disparity between how the public perceived the competition and how the results actually unfolded.
Dalal also highlighted that a representative of Karan Veer himself had acknowledged the irregularities surrounding the vote count, reinforcing his skepticism. “The representative said that the winner wasn’t decided based on votes. I don’t know what occurred backstage,” he added.
During the discussion, Rajat underscored Vivian Dsena’s commendable character throughout the season, noting his steadfastness in making decisions. He praised Dsena for remaining authentic despite external pressures. “No matter what Bigg Boss or anyone else said, he stood firm in his beliefs,” he elaborated, reflecting on how Vivian navigated the challenges posed during the show.
While Karan Veer Mehra ultimately took home the title of winner, Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal finished as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Other finalists included Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, and Eisha Singh.
