Blake Lively made a striking appearance at the film’s premiere held in New York City on April 27, where she shared the spotlight with co-star Anna Kendrick. The actress dazzled attendees in a Tamara Ralph gown, characterized by its elegant chiffon draping and an avant-garde criss-cross detail on the bodice. The gown’s soft mint hue certainly captured attention on the red carpet.
However, the evening was not without its hiccups. Observers quickly noted a light brown stain located just beneath her right arm, likely the result of body makeup or self-tanner that had inadvertently marked the gown’s light fabric. Accompanying her sleek hairstyle, swept to one side to showcase shimmering Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, the small blemish became quite noticeable. Despite this minor setback, Blake managed to shine at the event.
Social media users quickly weighed in, with comments such as, “Spray tan mishap, folks! A light dress isn’t the best choice!” Another remarked, “The body makeup appears to have left a mark around her armpit.” Yet, many fans rallied behind Blake, complimenting her beauty in the Tamara Ralph creation. One supporter noted, “It’s not an outfit failure; it looks like sweat mixed with her spray tan got on the dress! She’s still stunning.” Another added, “She looks absolutely perfect!”
Also present at the premiere was Blake’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, who looked dapper in a grey plaid suit, complemented by a white shirt and dark grey tie. The actress also mingled with director Paul Feig and a talented ensemble cast including Anna Kendrick, Michele Morrone, Andrew Rannells, Elizabeth Perkins, Bashir Salahuddin, Henry Golding, and Alex Newell. Well-known friends like Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Levy showed their support at the high-profile event.
This glamorous occasion unfolds amid ongoing legal disputes for Blake, as she is currently embroiled in a legal battle against her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni. Last December, she filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department, alleging sexual harassment and a smear campaign against Baldoni, whose production company, Wayfarer Studio, was also implicated. In January, Baldoni countersued Blake, Ryan, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, along with Blake’s firm, Vision PR, seeking $400 million in damages. A trial is anticipated for March 2026.
