TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays have activated outfielder Daulton Varsho from the 10-day injured list ahead of their matchup against the Boston Red Sox.
Varsho began the season recovering from a right shoulder procedure he underwent last September.
Recently, he finished a rehabilitation assignment with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, indicating he is prepared to return to action.
In his second season with the Blue Jays, Varsho’s performance last year included a batting average of .214, along with 18 home runs and 58 runs batted in. Notably, he also earned his first Gold Glove award for his impressive defensive skills.
