Brandon Jacobs Backs Eli Manning for Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction
If former New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs had his way, Eli Manning would be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame without delay. Jacobs has made it clear that he believes Manning is undoubtedly a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
<pDuring a recent conversation with TMZ Sports, Jacobs expressed strong support for Manning’s candidacy, emphasizing that the quarterback’s two Super Bowl victories against the formidable New England Patriots should certainly be a significant factor in his induction.
“Well, s***,” Jacobs remarked. “He beat Tom Brady twice — that’s enough!”
Jacobs went on to highlight Manning’s impressive statistics, noting that his numbers are comparable to those of many players regarded as great in NFL history. He argued that while Manning’s teams may not have always been dominant, the quarterback’s ability to secure two championship titles speaks volumes about his talent and tenacity.
“I think Eli is by far first-ballot Hall of Fame,” Jacobs stated confidently. “He definitely deserves to get in this year.” Manning has recently been named one of 15 modern-era finalists for the Class of 2025, competing for a coveted spot among notable players such as Luke Kuechly, Jared Allen, and Steve Smith Sr.
The decision on Manning’s induction will be revealed on February 6, 2025, but Jacobs appears to believe it is a foregone conclusion.
“No question,” he affirmed.
