Bryan Ferry to Release New Album “Loose Talk” in March
Renowned artist Bryan Ferry is set to release a new album titled Loose Talk on March 28, in collaboration with performance artist, writer, and painter Amelia Barratt. This release is under Ferry’s own label, Dene Jesmond. As part of the announcement, the pair have unveiled the album’s lead single, “Orchestra,” which is accompanied by a music video crafted by Ferry himself.
The collaboration between Ferry and Barratt originated from a serendipitous meeting at an exhibition, leading to their first joint effort on the single “Star.” This track was featured in Ferry’s compilation album Retrospective: Selected Recordings 1973-2023, highlighting the diverse range of his work over the years.
Loose Talk marks Ferry’s first studio venture into new, original music since his 2014 album Avonmore. While he released Bitter-Sweet in 2018, that project mainly consisted of reimagined older tracks.
