BTS Jimin Engages with Fans Ahead of Military Discharge
BTS member Jimin has recently taken some time to connect with fans on Weverse, providing updates about his life as he nears the end of his military service in South Korea.
As he approaches his discharge in just two months, Jimin shared insights into his current activities and engaged in playful banter with fans. The BTS Army created excitement by promising to complete various challenges, such as doing 100 push-ups and scoring perfectly on a math test, in hopes of receiving a response from him. In response to their pledges, Jimin lightheartedly asked for proof of their achievements, jokingly saying, “You guys, we need proof for this. How can I get proof? (Laughs) Looking forward to your test paper with 100 on it.” He further added, “You guys are saying huge stuff.. I request proof for this too.”
During the engaging conversation, a fan inquired about Jimin’s thoughts before bedtime. He candidly responded, sharing his reflections on hair length post-service, including whether it would grow quickly and if he could once again enjoy wearing earrings. The star also expressed curiosity about trying new styles and fragrances once he completes his military duties.
Jimin elaborated on his fitness regimen, exclaiming, “I’ve been working out, so dancing (again) wouldn’t be that difficult, right?” His thoughts wandered to future performances, including what songs he should choose and the direction his next album might take. He mused about the exciting journey ahead, saying, “What kind of journey would my 30s be? I want to perform on stage for a long time without getting hurt.”
As fans shared their admiration, Jimin reciprocated with affection, expressing his gratitude. The light-hearted exchange continued as another fan asked about potential hair color changes, to which Jimin humorously implied that he must grow his hair out first. When a fan queried if fellow BTS member Jungkook was nearby, Jimin playfully affirmed this possibility.
Currently, Jimin, along with RM, Suga, Taehyung, and Jungkook, is fulfilling the mandatory military service that began in 2023, with their expected discharge date set for June this year. Notably, Jin and J-Hope have already completed their services and returned to focus on their musical careers.
