In a remarkable turnaround in the Twitch streaming landscape, League of Legends content creator Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont has emerged as the platform’s most-watched streamer, surpassing other popular figures, including Asmongold.
Following a significant ascent over the past several months, Caedrel’s engaging coverage of League of Legends has captivated audiences, leading to his recent achievements.
The pinnacle of his performance came during the Worlds 2024 co-stream in September, where he attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers. His extensive focus on his team, Los Ratones, played a critical role, especially after their successful NLC debut, which shattered previous viewership records.
As of March 2025, Caedrel has consolidated his place at the top, outperforming numerous well-known Twitch personalities to claim this prestigious title.
Caedrel Outshines Asmongold, Hasan, and Kai Cenat
Data from StreamsCharts reveals that Caedrel closed the month with an impressive 11.17 million hours watched, making him the only streamer to break into double-digit millions.
Remarkably, he achieved this feat with fewer hours streamed compared to Asmongold, who accumulated 9.99 million hours across 219 hours of streaming during March.
Other notable streamers included Jynxzi, who garnered 7.01 million hours watched, and Hasan, with a total of 6.79 million hours.
Former Twitch leader Kai Cenat saw a decrease in his streaming hours, nearly 100 less than in February, yet still managed to draw 5.34 million viewers.
Additionally, Caedrel’s team, Los Ratones, achieved victory in the EMEA Masters 2025 Winter, sweeping Ici Japon Corp with a clean 3-0, further bolstering his fame.
Looking ahead, the challenge remains for Caedrel to maintain his leading position amid fierce competition, particularly from Kai Cenat, who is expected to make a strong comeback.
