Calgary police have announced a second-degree murder charge following an extensive year-long investigation into the disappearance of Christopher Stevenson, who was last seen in August 2023. Initial inquiries pointed towards foul play, prompting officers to search various locations, including a specific property and a downtown Calgary residence, for evidence tied to his case.
The investigation led law enforcement to the conclusion that Stevenson was murdered during the same month he was reported missing.
