Canada secured the bronze medal by defeating Slovakia 4-2 at the world wheelchair curling championships held on Saturday.
The match saw Canada take an early lead with a point in the second end, but Slovakia quickly equalized in the fourth end. Skipped by Gil Dash from Wolseley, Saskatchewan, the Canadian team managed to regain the lead in the sixth end with another point, only for Slovakia to tie the game again in the seventh.
