(FOX40.COM) — Emergency responders from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District attended to a serious collision involving three vehicles that resulted in a fire.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Eagles Nest Road and Florin Road. Firefighters reported that one of the vehicles involved ignited during the crash, but quick action led to the flames being extinguished.
Images captured at the scene depict a vehicle that had overturned and suffered extensive damage. The photographs further reveal two vehicles that were completely totaled, alongside scattered remnants of burned car parts across the roadway.
Three individuals were taken to the hospital; their current conditions remain unclear. Notably, one person was trapped in a vehicle but was safely freed by the responding fire crews from Metro Fire.
